o the projects!

Days go by so fast in the McVeity home , I feel like we are constantly busy. But this is very self inflicted ! I love projects and I love to get them done asap , my man on the other hand has learned patience in this area 1 step at a time . Today we went on a little shopping adventure we went into Zara how I love thee ! They have the cutest clothes .We bought Beau the cutest little outfit , and I drooled over the dresses ! of course we stopped at a couple other places but we hit up the thrift stores and got some cute little bargains. we have been shopping at the good will way to often its starting to consume me project after project! so this were some of the things we have been up too.

I got this wicked chandelier lamp, it was not the best looking thing but I new it had ton's of potential so I took it under my wind and WA la! A little paint and a shade.

Another little update I did was stencil a wall and recover a chair and paint it .

so pics will be coming on the wall but I forgot to take a before and after pic of the chair but it was Easter pink and had a wicker seat this is the after transformation. This little guy climbed up onto the chair to be in the spotlight ! With his o so cute homemade bow tie! ha ha

A normal day for the mcveitys

Whats your tricks to get your family to eat healthy? This is my personal favorite its supper yummy .
Fresh salmon fillet with applesauce and horseradish , sounds gross but it is so yummy like candy salmon !

I got the recipe from the Jillan micheals cook book, when me and caleb pertended to folow her diet lol , I have been making this ever since.

I am telling you everyone in this house loves it even little beau our fruitatrain that's all about he eats.

2 salmons filet's

2 snack size apple sauce cups

1/2 tsp of horse radish

touch of dill

cook at 350 20-25 min

I just mix the sauce before then pour on top of the salmon . cook and eat!

So on another note I simply can't wait for the Royal wedding , its sounds silly but I am going to watch it live at 3:00 in the morning! My wonderful hubby is going to join me  and pull an all nighter with treats and our fav shows and watch the wedding I really truly can't wait I keep thinking o man where are they right now , o wait probley sleeping lol I remeber the night before my wedding, jitters and nerves excitment and I am not sure I got the much sleep thank goodness to the marriage glow!

I just think this is amazing prince william will be a king one day and we are watching him get married not to mention kate is so pretty! . Also we did a project today I will post tommorow yay for making things !

Hey friends this weekend was tons of fun hope you had an excellent Easter too we went to my grans 80th surprise birthday and then the big mcveity mcance .... family Easter lunch it was so fun there was great food and fun games . The kids and of course adults had tons of fun . The Easter bunny stopped by again hah he drooped off some wonderful things . And off to a great afternoon at church! Then another Easter dinner Beau got spoiled by all his relatives and my hubs and I ate ourselves silly lol . So long thin waist!

Monday nights can be hard Caleb works shift work so sometimes we do family home evening another day or Beau , SAM and I do something . Yesterday we had great fun! Notice all the bunny's and birds and creaters have come out to play! yay spring is here we hope. we had a clan of bunny's nibbling away at our grass in the front I think there was 5 or 6 of them. They played and chased each other and pigged out on the fresh grass.  Beau Sam (the dog) and  I perked are heads over the love seat  and watched for about an hour lol I know talk about exciting! It was truly so cute , Sam's ears were perked right up watching them , and there might even been some drool coming from his mouth fantasizing about the great chase he would have if there wasn't glass between him and them. Beau stood on the couch with his nose up against the glass banging on the window and yelling at the Bunny's lol . It was quite entertaining. Eventually we decided to throw some lettuce out for them to eat . Which I guess wasn't good enough for them since its still lying on the lawn and Caleb questioned me about it lol.

Other then that not much going on in the mcveity shack , I am working on a project though can't wait to show you when its done! yay for home projects , don't you just love fixing stuff up and making it new!

everyday is fun for me!

 

Hey yawl seeing as I missed a couple days, I have quite a bit to catch up on. Last Saturday was Beau's 1st birthday. I planned a Mickey Mouse party which came out great I think. We did candy apples , cupcakes, and of course ice cream Sunday bar. I had face painting going on and coloring . With a very fun pinata to top it off. Here's some pics. This week we also had the pleasure of going to the store Anthropolgie ! ahh I could live there how love it so ! When my fam and me walked in we were in aw, we didn't even speak we just walked in and stared at all the Beautiful colors. I ventured to the clearance rack and picked up a couple things and I bought this ! My first purchase I feel so honored. We have decided Anthropologie's style is what we love but , not so much our wallet all the time lol.

The Bunny that came too soon!

I feel as though men (my dear sweet caleb) sometimes try to do very sweet nice things for others and it ends up going down hill lol . I think you all have had an incident in your lives similar to this. My hubby has a heart of gold but his mind is normally in different world. Last week was pretty busy for us I was working alot in the Hair salon and he had his final exam that week . We were also preparing for Beau's 1ST birthday . And we also had my birthday all in one week. ahhh it was overwhelming of stress and excitement. I think Caleb was so excited he forgot the date thinking it was Easter on Sunday , He thought I had totally forgot about Easter so he did all the Easter shopping without me lol . How sweet . He got the sweetest little gifts, for sam he got a big tiger stuffie , Beau some treats and a book and for me some treats and a housecoat! How sweet is this man .And on the table for him was nothing ! He came into the room in the morning and couldn't wait to show us what the wonderful easter bunny had left. And then I had ruined the moment "caleb its not Easter today, its next week". poor guy it only got worse for him then on Since it was not Easter the bunny hadn't shopped for anything for him , and I had a pitty party about how I wanted to be parted of the Easter planning and shopping.

It was all resolved the Bunny will be coming again this Sunday!
